Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced GCP Engineer (Senior Technical Lead) with strong expertise in data engineering and cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with key GCP services and will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using GCP services

• Build and optimize ETL workflows for efficient data processing

• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions

• Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of cloud data platforms

• Implement best practices for data architecture and cloud engineering

• Support analytics and reporting requirements across business teams

Required Skills (Primary)

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Expertise in:

o BigQuery

o Cloud Composer (Airflow)

o Dataflow

• Advanced proficiency in SQL

• Strong experience in data engineering and ETL processes

Preferred / Secondary Skills

• Experience with Informatica and MS SQL Server

• Exposure to Looker (Looker Core) or other BI tools

• Experience with Qlik Sense or Power BI

• Knowledge of Snowflake and Oracle

• Familiarity with modern data architecture and cloud frameworks

Additional Notes

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

• Prior experience in a technical lead role is highly preferred
