The EHS Site Coordinator will support the Brossard facility by driving day to day Environmental Health & Safety activities and ensuring compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements. This role is essential to maintaining safe operations, reducing risk, and supporting ongoing EHS initiatives within the site.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting daily/weekly site safety walkthroughs and inspections
- Supporting incident reporting, investigation, documentation, and corrective actions
- Maintaining EHS documentation, training records, and compliance files
- Coordinating site safety meetings and EHS communications - Coordinates the identification and analysis of hazards in the workplace.
- Supporting employee and contractor onboarding and ensuring adherence to site safety requirements - Coordinate training activities with external services, develop training content and administer it to workers.
- Assisting with emergency preparedness plans, drills, and response coordination
- Managing PPE inventory and supporting EHS related procurement
- Ensuring the site is always audit ready and supporting internal or external EHS audits
- Support business partners to ensure legal, regulatory, and corporate compliance for the EHS sectors - Coordination with the corporate EHS team
- Maintain databases of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to EHS.
- Ensure productive communications and with external representatives of governmental agencies related to EHS.
In addition to EHS responsibilities, the coordinator will provide administrative and office management support to the FD group, including:
- Ordering and managing office supplies and office related services
- Supporting facility service requests and coordinating with vendors as needed
- Coordinating onboarding activities for new personnel assigned to the site
- Helping Engineering Support Specialist with general administrative tasks that support daily office operations

Non negotiable Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety coordination or a related field
- Strong knowledge of provincial (CNESST) and federal EHS regulations
- Proven ability to conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills in both French and English
