2nd Shift Monday–Friday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

The Job

We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our refrigeration and freezing systems running smoothly in a food production facility. This role focuses on industrial ammonia and nitrogen refrigeration equipment that supports frozen storage, production, and building cooling. If you like working with your hands, solving problems, and being part of a solid team, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

Keeping ammonia and nitrogen refrigeration systems running safely and efficiently

Performing preventive maintenance and fixing issues when things break

Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems

Monitoring equipment using gauges, meters, and routine walk-throughs

Keeping basic maintenance logs and documentation

Reading manuals and drawings to help with repairs

Ordering parts and supplies as needed

Keeping your work area clean and GMP-compliant

Following safety rules and wearing required PPE

Working closely with other maintenance techs and supervisors

Helping train or support teammates when needed

What We’re Looking For

1–3 years of hands-on experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems

Nitrogen freezer experience is a plus (Reco or Frigoscandia experience is even better)

Comfortable with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting

Experience with electrical systems (110/120/220/480V), piping, pneumatics, and hydraulics

Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work independently

High school diploma or equivalent
