Position Overview:
As an Industrial Millwright at hth companies, you will play a vital role in the repair, maintenance, and installation of industrial equipment that is essential for manufacturing and production processes. You will be responsible for installing, dismantling, repairing, reassembling, and relocating various types of machinery including pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and conveyors. A strong ability to interpret technical instructions and blueprints is essential, as is the willingness to work in diverse and challenging environments. Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including welding and cutting equipment, is also required.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Ensure the proper operation of large industrial equipment including power generators, turbines, and assembly line machinery.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and hoists to assemble, install, align, and adjust piping, valves, and other machinery components.
Test machines to ensure they perform to specifications, making necessary modifications and fine-tuning as needed.
Dismantle and analyze existing machinery to troubleshoot and repair issues as they arise.
Assemble parts for repairs or modifications based on blueprints.
Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on older machines.
Advise management on the procurement of new machinery based on operational needs.
Plan and oversee the installation of new or refurbished machinery, including building necessary platforms and foundations.
Perform routine safety inspections of facilities and maintain detailed records, including safety logs and inspection notes.
Assist in jobsite safety compliance with all OSHA regulations and the hth companies' Safety Program.
Promote a positive workplace culture and champion safety initiatives.
Handle various other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Basic math skills.
Experience using tools such as blowtorches, saws, and welding torches.
Comprehensive understanding of various industrial machinery.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of safety practices and regulations.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and sometimes stressful environments.

Training:
