We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our fast-paced food production team. This role involves operating various production machines and ensuring the smooth production of tortillas. You will play a critical part in maintaining quality standards, adjusting machine settings, and documenting production processes while adhering to strict safety protocols.Responsibilities

Operate production machinery and ensure it is running properly, notifying support departments of any issues.

Replace Mesh and Teflon belts safely and accurately.

Adjust machine settings to ensure proper size and weight of products.

Verify recipes, seasoning, weights, and settings according to ERP System requirements.

Fill out production paperwork accurately and maintain ERP System standards.

Record waste accurately and troubleshoot settings when necessary.

Collaborate with the maintenance team to resolve equipment issues.

Keep work area clean and orderly.

Participate in food safety and defense activities.

Assist sanitation department with equipment cleaning and reassembly.Essential Skills

1-2 years' experience operating production machinery with equipment set-ups and adjustments.

Comfortable working with computers and entering data into ERP systems.

Basic English or Spanish language skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to lift between 30-55lbs consistently.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Food production experience preferred, especially in bakery environments.

Work in a dynamic food production environment that can reach temperatures up to 100 degrees. Be prepared for a fast-paced setting involving heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Protective attire, including gowns, hair nets, and hearing protection, is required and provided by the company. The environment contains gluten particles due to flour usage.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eagan, MN.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
