THE ROLE
La Cumbre is looking for a hands-on, hospitality-driven leader to run our front-of-house dining operation. You're the type who greets members by name, folds napkins when the room gets busy, and genuinely loves watching your team grow. This isn't a desk job - it's a floor-level leadership role with real room to grow in one of Santa Barbara's most storied private clubs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Build and develop a service team that takes pride in craft - recruiting, training, and coaching every day.
Lead pre-shift meetings, manage daily front-of-house operations, and keep standards high.
Stay visible on the floor, building genuine relationships with members and guests.
Partner with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless, polished service.
Execute memorable events - wine dinners, golf tournaments, holiday celebrations, and more.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
WHAT YOU BRING
3+ years of dining room or F&B leadership experience; private club background a plus.
A servant-leader mindset - no task beneath you, no team member left behind.
Wine knowledge and tableside service experience preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to stay cool under pressure.
Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
