We are looking for a motivated and reliable Materials Coordinator to join our growing team.
In this role, you will help maintain organization of the shop and warehouse, coordinate materials and inventory, unload vendor deliveries, and make deliveries of tools and materials to project sites.

Key Responsibilities: Unload shipments from trucks or containers, and load products onto pallets, trucks, or shelves.
Ensure items are handled safely and stacked securely to prevent damage during transport or storage.
Verify the accuracy and condition of incoming shipments by comparing contents to packing lists or purchase orders.
Inspect picked materials for quality, accuracy, and proper quantities before preparing them for shipment.
Label received goods and store them in designated areas within the warehouse, following an organized inventory system.
Ensure safe and efficient storage, adhering to safety guidelines.
Properly package goods, selecting the correct packaging materials, sealing boxes, and applying shipping labels to ensure products are ready for transport and distribution.
Select materials or products based on order specifications to fulfill orders.
Monitor inventory and alert management when levels are low or when restocking is required.
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials efficiently within the warehouse.
Make tool and equipment deliveries to job sites as needed.
Assist with project mobilization and demobilization activities (job site setup and breakdown support). Pick up materials from vendors or suppliers as needed to support job site operations and reduce the need for field personnel to leave the job site.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience, Knowledge, & Skills: Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred but not required.
Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks). Forklift Certification or ability to become forklift certified.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving trucks is a plus.
Medical DOT card or ability to obtain one.
CDL preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders and inventory.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform manual labor.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and warehousing practices is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time (Hours would be 6:30am – 3:30pm) Job Location: Office/shop in Powell, Ohio Travel/Relocation Requirements: Local travel to jobsites for material and tool deliveries may be required.
Hourly Pay Range: $22 - $25 / Hour The pay range listed for this position is provided as a general guideline.
Final starting pay will be determined based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and overall qualifications, as well as applicable market conditions.
