Research Associate/Senior Research Associate

We are a well-funded biotech startup that has developed a suite of proprietary technologies combining ultrahigh throughput single-cell functional screening with computational AI models to advance the development of immunotherapies for cancer and autoimmune diseases. We are currently looking for a research associate to join our interdisciplinary team. The candidate is expected to adapt quickly and communicate well, especially in a fast-paced startup environment. Responsibilities:

Carry out a variety of cell biology tasks, including mammalian cell culture, virus harvesting, and transfections/transduction of various cell lines.

Isolate and engineer primary T cells using different techniques.

Perform functional assays to evaluate T cell responses.

Assist with molecular cloning tasks including design, PCR, gel extraction, transformation, plasmid preparation, and sequence analysis.

Collaborate with team on other experiments when needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.

Skill sets required: molecular cloning, flow cytometry, ELISA, cell line and primary T cell culture, and lentiviral transduction.

2+ years of industry experience.

Responsible, accountable, and detail-oriented

Detail oriented, excellent organization skills and communication skills.

Nice to haves:

Understanding of T cell immunology.

Experience with TCE development.

Experience with NGS sequencing and analysis.
