HireCultures is seeking an experienced Installer/Electrician to help build custom vans, RVs, trucks, and specialty vehicles. From luxury motorhomes and mobile workspaces to custom-tailored adventure vehicles, our team transforms unique customer visions into reality.

Position Summary
The Installer/Electrician is responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing 12-volt and 110-volt electrical systems in custom vehicles. This role requires strong electrical knowledge, the ability to read schematics, and a commitment to producing high-quality work that meets safety standards and customer expectations.
What You'll Do: Electrical Installation & Assembly
Install and create complete 12-volt and 110-volt electrical systems in custom vehicles.
Wire and install components including:
Interior and exterior lighting
Fans and ventilation systems
Solar panels
Batteries and battery management systems
Inverters and power management systems
Power centers and breaker panels
Receptacles and junction boxes
Air conditioning units
Stereos, amplifiers, and entertainment systems
Appliances and specialty equipment
Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics
Diagnose electrical issues in vehicle systems.
Identify and repair electrical shorts, faulty wiring, and circuit failures.
Utilize electrical testing equipment to verify system integrity and performance.
Test completed installations to ensure safe and proper operation.
Repair or replace defective electrical components and assemblies.
Quality & Safety
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, engineering drawings, and installation instructions.
Identify defects in materials or workmanship and take corrective action.
Follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Adhere to all company safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout procedures and PPE requirements.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with vehicle electrical systems.
Strong knowledge of:
12-volt DC electrical systems
110-volt AC electrical systems
Vehicle wiring and circuitry
Batteries, charging systems, and power distribution
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to provide and use personal hand tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on RVs, vans, specialty vehicles, marine systems, or automotive electrical systems.
Trade school or technical training in electrical systems.
Experience with solar installations and power management systems.
Skills in carpentry, cabinetry, fabrication, or other skilled trades.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, kneel, bend, crouch, and work inside vehicles for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
Ability to safely operate hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
Ability to work in both indoor and occasional outdoor environments.
Work Environment
Manufacturing and production setting.
Exposure to power tools, electrical equipment, noise, dust, and various shop materials.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, and other safety gear as required.
