User Experience Designer

Now Hiring: UX Designer (Contract)

Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite)

Duration: Long-term contract

Pay Rate: Up to $54/hr

We are seeking a thoughtful UX Designer (3–6 years experience) to support digital product experiences within the Financial Services industry. This role is ideal for someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, creating intuitive and user-friendly web experiences.

You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to shape user journeys, refine interfaces, and improve usability across both new and existing features.

What you’ll do:

• Lead UX work from concept through final design deliverables, aligned to user and business needs

• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate product ideas into engaging digital experiences

• Create user flows, wireframes, storyboards, mockups, and interactive prototypes

• Define and evolve interface patterns for new features and enhancements

• Evaluate usability and recommend practical improvements

• Apply user-centered design principles to solve friction points in the customer journey

• Present design concepts and clearly communicate rationale to stakeholders

What we’re looking for:

• 3–6 years of UX/UI or product design experience

• Strong experience designing web-based digital experiences

• Proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, and visual design

• Solid understanding of usability, interaction patterns, and design best practices

• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS to collaborate with engineering teams

• Experience working in cross-functional product environments

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain design decisions
