Labor Relations Manager/HR Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Labor Relations Manager with a proven track record. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor relations, employee relations, and strategic HR leadership, with a deep understanding of collective bargaining, compliance, and workforce engagement. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned HR professional ready to expand their impact in both strategic HR initiatives and labor relations management.

Responsibilities:

Partner with senior leadership to support all HR functions, with a focus on labor relations and people strategy aligned to business objectives

Serve as the primary point of contact for union relations, including contract administration, grievance handling, and dispute resolution

Advise senior management on employee relations matters, labor compliance, performance management, and workforce planning

Lead or support collective bargaining negotiations, including preparation, strategy development, and execution

Coach and support HR team members and leaders on labor relations best practices and employee engagement strategies

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as collective bargaining agreements

Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to proactively address workforce concerns and enhance employee relations

Analyze trends, metrics, and labor data to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in human resources, with significant experience in labor relations and union environments

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

Proven experience with collective bargaining, grievance processes, and labor contract administration

Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization

Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations issues and drive resolution

Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices

Experience with HRIS systems, reporting, and workforce analytics

Certification from SHRM or a related professional organization is a plus.

Salary: Starting at $100,000 based on experience
