We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support project planning, coordination, and execution in a remote work environment. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates looking to develop a career in project management while gaining hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available.
Responsibilities
Assist project managers with planning, organizing, and tracking project activities.
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting notes and action items.
Monitor project schedules, deadlines, and deliverables.
Maintain project documentation, reports, and databases.
Communicate with team members, clients, vendors, and stakeholders via email, phone, and virtual meetings.
Track project progress and provide regular status updates.
Help identify project risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Support budget tracking, invoicing, and administrative tasks as needed.
Ensure projects comply with company standards and procedures.
Perform other project-related duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Comfortable using virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack, or similar platforms.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
Previous administrative, customer service, internship, or project coordination experience is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or Microsoft Project.
Basic understanding of project management methodologies.
Experience with data entry, reporting, and document management.
