Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Full Stack Developer with AWS experience to join our team in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable web applications using Java, modern front-end technologies, and AWS cloud services.

Required Skills:

6+ years of experience in Full Stack Development.

Strong experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices.

Hands-on experience with React.js or Angular.

Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and web services.

Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, IAM, and API Gateway.

Proficiency in SQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DynamoDB.

Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.

Build and enhance microservices-based architectures.

Develop responsive user interfaces using React.js/Angular.

Create and consume RESTful APIs.

Deploy and manage applications in AWS cloud environments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, QA, and DevOps.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Certification (Developer Associate or Solutions Architect) is a plus.

Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.

Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance domains.

Exposure to Kafka or event-driven architectures.

Must Have: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, React/Angular, AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, SQL.
