Job Title: Safety ManagerLocation: Pataskala, OH and Frazeysburg, OHSalary: Negotiable; Based upon experienceSchedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pmJob SummaryWe're looking for a hands on Safety Manager to play a key role in shaping safety culture across our growing manufacturing facilities.
This is a high visibility role where you'll partner directly with leadership, work closely with employees on the production floor, and drive initiatives that make a measurable difference in how work gets done safely every day.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead and execute safety strategies across three manufacturing locationsDrive a proactive, behavior based safety culture by partnering with leadership to integrate safety into daily operationsServe as a trusted safety resource across all departmentsConduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigationsDevelop and deliver safety training programsEnsure OSHA & EPA compliance, reporting, and record keepingManage hazard communication programs, including SDS and chemical safetyDevelop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and documentationMonitor workers' compensation claims and return to work programsLead emergency preparedness efforts and serve as a first responderSpend significant time on the production floor engaging employees and identifying improvement opportunitiesMinimum QualificationsB.S.
in Environmental / Occupational Health and Safety, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of safety experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments developing safety programs, training, and proceduresStrong working knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General IndustryStrong working knowledge of environmental compliance regulations, EPA required permits, record keeping, and reportingExcellent communication and leadership skillsCPR/AED and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)Self motivated, hands on, and comfortable working in a fast paced environmentThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
