Job Overview

Precondo is seeking a Managing Editor to oversee the entire content production process. This role is responsible for leading writers and editors, maintaining editorial quality, and ensuring all content aligns with brand strategy, SEO goals, and marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee content production for blogs, email campaigns, social media, and website copy.

Lead a team of writers, editors, and content contributors.

Develop and enforce editorial guidelines, tone of voice, and content standards.

Plan and manage content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns.

Review, edit, and approve high-priority content before publication.

Collaborate with SEO, marketing, and design teams to improve content performance.

Analyze content metrics and adjust strategy based on engagement and conversions.

Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality across all published materials.

Qualifications

Proven experience in editorial management, content strategy, or senior editing roles (3–6+ years preferred).

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.

Deep understanding of SEO, content marketing, and digital publishing.

Experience using content management systems and analytics tools.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote work environment.
