I'm currently partnering with a client to identify a strong HR Manager to lead and support HR operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, partnering with leadership, and driving employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations
Spend ~25% of time on the floor to stay visible, engaged, and in tune with the workforce
Provide employee relations counseling and guidance
Lead investigations and resolution of employee relations issue
Business Partnership
Review and recommend improvements to HR policies, procedures, and practices
Partner directly with department managers to support HR need
Provide leadership and consultative support to help achieve operational objectives
Staffing & Workforce Planning
Collaborate with managers to identify staffing needs and meet volume projection
Develop and implement effective staffing strategies
Build and retain a motivated, high-performing workforce
Manage temporary staffing vendors, ensuring quality and contract compliance
Track and analyze HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, promotions, etc.
Utilize Kronos to manage and analyze workforce dates
Payroll & Benefit
Supervise payroll-related activities
Oversee administration of employee benefits program
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
Bachelor's degree in business discipline, logistics, or human resources
Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in HR
HR Certification preferred
Thorough knowledge of current employment laws regarding recruiting, workers compensation, affirmative action/equal employment opportunity, wage and hour regulation, benefits
