The Shipping Clerk is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of shipping and logistics operations. This role ensures all outbound and inbound shipments are scheduled, tracked, and processed accurately. The position requires strong organization, attention to detail, and a willingness to step in and support operations on the floor when needed.
This is a hands-on role that plays a critical part in keeping our operation running smoothly.
Core Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate carrier appointments for pickups and deliveries
Coordinate shipment schedules to ensure on-time execution
Maintain accurate and organized shipping records; verify all documentation for accuracy
Process ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) transactions and related system entries
Communicate shipment status, delays, or issues proactively to the Logistics Manager
Assist with inbound logistics, including tracking and coordinating incoming shipments
Work closely with warehouse and production teams to ensure orders are ready and shipped on time
Ensure all shipping activity is executed with a high level of accuracy and accountability
Support operations on the dock as needed, including moving pallets and assisting with loading/unloading Step in where needed to keep operations moving—this role requires flexibility and a team-first mindset
Take on additional responsibilities over time based on performance and capability
What We're Looking For
Experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred
Strong attention to detail—accuracy is critical in this role
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Willingness to work both at a desk and on the warehouse floor
Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Physical Requirements
Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
Ability to lift, move, or assist with pallets and materials
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
