Machine Operator (Pipe Bender)

$20.00-$25.00 per hour BOE

Monday-Friday 5:00am-1:30pm, 6:00am-2:30pm, or 7:00am-3:30pm depending on department

What you’ll be doing:

Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements

Set stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template

Positions workpiece against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade

Pushes button or depresses pedal to activate machine

Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction

Measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation

Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from workpiece

Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces

Stack, mark, pack, and transport finished workpieces

Cleans work area, machines, tools and equipment. Performs other routine duties

Operates sit-down or standup forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse

Who we’re looking for:

Reliability & Consistency - This role depends on showing up, doing repetitive tasks accurately, and maintaining steady output without sacrificing quality

Must have mechanical aptitude and basic math skills

The job may involve standing, lifting and moving materials throughout a shift

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods

Positive attitude and a willingness to learn

Must be comfortable using computers

Great tenure at prior roles

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
