About the Job:
We are seeking a Process Development Engineer I to join a growing MSAT (Manufacturing Science & Technology) team supporting biopharmaceutical process development and manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer interested in cell culture, process scale-up, technology transfer, and bioprocess development within a fast-paced biotechnology environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support cell culture and bioprocessing activities within the MSAT laboratory
• Execute process studies, collect and analyze data, and document results accurately
• Assist with technology transfer, process optimization, and manufacturing support activities
• Draft and revise SOPs, batch records, protocols, reports, and other technical documents
• Manage laboratory samples, materials, inventory, and equipment activities
• Prepare technical summaries and presentations to communicate project results
• Ensure compliance with GMP/GxP requirements, safety standards, and quality systems
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline
• 0–2+ years of experience in Biotechnology, Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing, Process Development, or MSAT
• Knowledge of cell culture, bioprocessing, or laboratory operations preferred
• Strong data analysis, documentation, and communication skills
• Experience with GMP/GxP environments, HPLC, or process analytical tools is a plus
