Lead Network Engineer

Job Title: Network Provisioning Engineer Location: Albany, OH (ONSITE 5 DAYS) Employment Type: Full Time Required Qualifications Technical Skills Requirement Routing & Switching Strong understanding of BGP, IS-IS, MPLS (Intermediate to Advanced) Network Platforms Experience with Juniper (JunOS), Arista (EOS), Cisco (IOS-XR), or Meta’s FBOSS (preferred) Data Center Networking Understanding of Clos/spine-leaf architectures, fabric networks, ToR switching Optical Networking Familiarity with DWDM, 800G optics (800ZR+), transponder provisioning Automation/Scripting Familiarity with Python based automation tools Ticketing & Tooling Experience with network management/ticketing systems Experience • 7+ years of experience in network engineering, data center deployment, or network operations • Experience provisioning enterprise/hyperscale network devices at scale • Hands-on experience with at least one major vendor platform (Juniper/Arista/Cisco) • Experience with large-scale network deployments (100+ device environments) • Understanding of data center power/cooling constraints and physical infrastructure Soft Skills • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure deployment environments • Strong documentation and communication skills • Cross-functional collaboration with field technicians, operations teams, and engineering • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after onboarding • Problem-solving and escalation judgment Preferred Qualifications • BICSI certification (RCDD, Installer, Technician) or equivalent • Experience in hyperscale data-center environments • OSHA 10/30 certification Shift & Work Model Coverage :: 24 7 across three 8-hour shifts.

Assignment may include any of: Day (07:00–15:00 ET) · Swing (15:00–23:00 ET) · Graveyard (23:00–07:00 ET). Pattern :: 5 days on / 2 days off; 40 hrs / week.
