Quantitative Software Engineer Greenwich, CT (Hybrid) About the Opportunity Our client is a leading quantitative investment management firm that combines technology, data, and research to drive investment decision-making.

This is an opportunity to join a front-office engineering team responsible for developing the platforms, tools, and infrastructure used by quantitative researchers and portfolio managers.

The team works at the intersection of software engineering, data science, and investment research, building systems that transform complex data and analytics into scalable production solutions.

The Role As a Software Engineer, you will help design and build critical research and investment technology platforms, partnering closely with researchers, data scientists, and investment professionals.

Responsibilities include:Building and enhancing data platforms, orchestration systems, optimization engines, and validation frameworksDeveloping scalable APIs, tools, and infrastructure that support large-scale research and analytics workflowsCreating cloud-native applications that process and analyze millions of data pointsDesigning high-performance simulation and backtesting systems used to evaluate new investment strategiesBuilding bespoke technology solutions that support specialized investment and research initiativesContributing to AI and machine learning-enabled applications that improve research productivity and decision-makingCollaborating closely with quantitative researchers and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable software solutions This position follows a hybrid schedule, requiring 2–3 days per week onsite in Greenwich, CT.
