JOB TITLE: Project Manager (Commercial Construction)

JOB SUMMARY:
Setterlin Building Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from award through final completion.
This role is responsible for overall project success - including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution - while working closely with Superintendents, Project Engineers, and clients. Projects typically range from $1M-$20M across commercial, corporate, and institutional markets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout
Manage project budgets, schedules, and overall performance
Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Engineers, and subcontractors
Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, and trade partners
Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
Support field teams to drive safe and efficient project execution
Represent Setterlin professionally in all client and project interactions
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
10+ years of commercial construction experience
Proven experience managing projects in the $1M-$20M range
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor management
Proficiency with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.) and Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to project sites across Central and Southern Ohio
Stable employment history demonstrating reliability and commitment
SAFETY EXPECTATIONS:

Support Superintendents in maintaining safe job sites
Participate in and reinforce jobsite safety culture
