Job description*:

The Azure Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.

This role bridges business requirements with technology solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and best practices.

#Key Responsibilities:

#Solution Design & Architecture:

Design end-to-end Azure-based solutions aligned with business and technical requirements

Define architecture blueprints, including network, compute, storage, and security

Create High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD)

Ensure solutions meet scalability, availability, and performance needs

#Cloud Strategy & Advisory:

Provide guidance on cloud adoption, migration, and modernization strategies

Evaluate workloads and recommend optimal Azure services

Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and leadership teams

#Implementation & Delivery:

Lead or oversee deployment of Azure solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)

Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines

Ensure adherence to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices (Terraform, ARM, Bicep)

#Security & Compliance:

Design secure architecture using Azure security services

Implement identity and access management (Azure AD / Entra ID)

Ensure compliance with enterprise policies and industry standards

#Networking & Integration:

Architect Azure networking (VNet, NSG, Azure Firewall, Load Balancers, VPN, ExpressRoute)

Integrate on-premises systems with cloud environments

Design hybrid and multi-cloud architectures

#Governance & Cost Optimization:

Establish governance frameworks (Azure Policy, Blueprints)

Monitor and optimize cloud costs using FinOps practices

Define tagging strategies and cost allocation models
