Job Description

The Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer plays a vital role in a multidisciplinary clinical team, performing advanced cardiac imaging to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. This position involves managing a moderate patient volume with varied cases, ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate data analysis while adhering to safety protocols. The role does not require any travel and focuses on delivering exceptional patient care and collaboration within the healthcare environment.

13 Week Contract with the option to extend

Hours: Day - 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Must have general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, OB, Breast, Transvaginal, vascular, echocardiogram, adult echo, contrast echo, Echo stress treadmill experience

On-call required: 5pm - 8am Monday - Friday 24 hrs Saturday & Sunday

Responsibilities

Perform cardiac imaging to capture clear, diagnostic-quality echocardiograms

Assess patient condition and prepare for imaging procedures

Operate and maintain ultrasound and echocardiography equipment proficiently

Analyze imaging data and assist in clinical interpretation

Prepare detailed and accurate procedural reports

Conduct quality control to ensure imaging standards are met

Coordinate patient scheduling and communication effectively

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedure documentation

Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support patient care

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of experience in cardiac sonography

Bachelor’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field

ARDMS Cardiac Sonography certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Proficient in echocardiography and ultrasound equipment operation

Strong knowledge of patient care, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

Skilled in data interpretation with exceptional attention to detail

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Familiarity with safety protocols in a clinical settingCompany Description
