About the role:

We’re looking for someone with a passion for leveraging technology to shape the future of education. You’ll coordinate all releases - especially communicating test results, the contents of releases, getting buy-in and verification of releases from the proper stake holders, and communicate blockers to the proper teams. You’ll need to be able to balance competing priorities between a range of teams across several time zones to achieve the best results. In addition, you’ll be finding ways to improve the process, both from an administrative and technical stand-point.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate getting releases tested and deployed

• Oversee test results, and communicate with the relevant teams

• Provide management with reports on the release status and potential blockers and bugs

• Improvements to the release process

Requirements:

• 2+ years of leadership / organizational experience

• Strong communication skills - verbal, written, and digital

• Pager experience

• Git experience

• Jira Experience

• Docker knowledge

• Python knowledge

• Linux system administration

Recommended:

• Project Management knowledge and/or practical experience

• Software Development lifecycle knowledge

• Practical experience in LDAP / Microsoft AD environments

• User Management skills / SSO experience

• GoogleApps administration familiarity

• Mac and PC Operating System knowledge

• VPN familiarity
