RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead and develop a global multidisciplinary electrical engineering team for high-density liquid cooling systems - Provide technical and operational leadership across product development, systems integration, sustaining engineering, and manufacturing support - Drive design validation, testing, and configuration control to ensure performance, quality, and reliability - Support production issues with operations and quality teams to meet safety, delivery, and performance targets - Oversee NPI, product transfers, and change management, including global manufacturing alignment and buy vs.
make decisions - Review and approve engineering designs, documentation, and deviations ensuring compliance and accuracy - Maintain engineering documentation including BOMs, routings, and process flows - Drive continuous improvement using lean principles to improve efficiency, yield, throughput, and cost - Lead capital planning, equipment strategy, and implementation of new tools and technologies - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (commercial, supply chain, leadership) to align priorities - Monitor engineering KPIs and implement corrective actions for quality, efficiency, and delivery improvements - Develop and drive global electrical engineering standards for liquid cooling systems - Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards (UL, CSA, CE, etc.) - Develop team capability through hiring, coaching, performance management, and training - Provide reporting and updates to senior leadership on engineering performance, risks, and priorities QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field (Master’s preferred) - 10+ years total experience in electrical engineering or related fields - 5+ years experience in a management/leadership role - Experience in data center, industrial, automotive, telecom, or power systems (preferred) - Strong experience in NPI and manufacturing environments - Knowledge of electrical design tools (AutoCAD Electrical, CREO or similar) - Understanding of NEC (NFPA79), UL 508A/SB, and HVAC-related UL standards - Experience with DFSS and quality tools - Proficiency in MS Office (advanced PowerPoint skills) - Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (preferred) - Knowledge of schematics, power electronics, PCB design, and system integration (preferred) - Experience with electrical testing, validation, and compliance standards (preferred)
