Overview
A leading data center infrastructure services provider is seeking an experienced Foreman to oversee large-scale network infrastructure and structured cabling projects within mission-critical data center environments. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise in fiber and copper installations, project coordination, team leadership, and quality control.
You will play a key role in supporting hyperscale and enterprise data center deployments, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage onsite data center infrastructure and cabling teams
Coordinate project execution alongside Project Managers, Field Engineers, and contractors
Monitor project milestones, labor utilization, productivity, and quality standards
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and customer requirements
Oversee fiber and copper installations, testing, troubleshooting, and certifications
Review blueprints, port maps, and technical documentation to support deployment activities
Validate materials, project documentation, and installation standards
Support QA/QC reviews and final walkthroughs
Mentor team leads and recommend training opportunities
Contribute to continuous improvement and lessons learned documentation
Support both new deployment projects and live production environments
Requirements
5+ years of experience in structured cabling, network infrastructure, or data center construction
Experience leading multiple crews on medium to large-scale projects
Strong knowledge of copper and fiber optic installation standards
Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and port maps
Experience with infrastructure builds, rack systems, and cabling technologies
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Project
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Certifications such as CFTT, CFI, BICSI, or FOA preferred
Understanding of local installation standards, codes, and safety procedures
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift equipment up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working on ladders and raised platforms
Ability to pull cables and work in active construction/data center environments
