Job Description
As a Managing Director, you will be exposed to many different responsibilities. Your primary focus is to provide superb customer service so that our students receive the best education possible. In this role, you will enhance your management skills and gain invaluable experience in both business and education. Your responsibilities will include student onboarding, operations, and marketing.
Student Onboarding:
The goal of student onboarding is to ensure that every student has a smooth transition into our programs.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Conducting academic assessments.
Meeting with parents.
Collecting tuition.
Monitoring student progress, reprogramming as needed.
Center Operations: This includes, but is not limited to:
Hiring, training and supervising part-time tutors.
Scheduling.
Tracking and submitting payroll.
Managing daily operations (data entry, answering phones, etc.)
Marketing: This includes, but is not limited to:
Local networking.
Meeting with schools.
Qualifications needed:
Bachelor's Degree (required).
Customer Service: 1 year (required).
Sales/Marketing: 1-2 year (preferred).
Management: 1-2 years (preferred).
Teaching/Tutoring: 1-2 years (preferred).
Basic technology knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, Zoom conferencing, emailing) (required).
Attributes of Ideal Candidate:
Exceptional listening and customer service skills.
Ability to problem-solve and multi-task.
Proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
Hours for this position are typically Monday-Thursday 12:00pm-8:00pm, and Saturdays 9:00am-2:00pm.
