A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler / Order Picker This role offers career growth, a supportive work environment, and full-time hours (40+ per week).

MATERIAL HANDLER / ORDER PICKER DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

Location: Columbus NE 68601 – 100% on-site

Payrate: $22.70/hr

Required Availability: Full-Time 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Rotating shift schedule

MATERIAL HANDLER /RDER PICKER SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Material Handler / Order Picker will join a fast-paced warehouse and distribution team. This position plays a key role in processing customer orders, handling inventory, and preparing shipments while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

MATERIAL HANDLER / ORDER PICKER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pick, pack, and process customer orders

Scan barcodes and label products accurately

Utilize RF scanners and warehouse technology to complete transactions

Build, organize, and prepare pallets for shipment

Verify order accuracy and package shipments correctly

Re-palletize products as needed

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Follow company safety procedures and documentation standards

Assist with cross-training and support other warehouse functions when needed

MATERIAL HANDLER / ORDER PICKER REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)

Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.

1+ year of relevant warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience

Experience operating a motorized pallet jack (Walkie Rider) is a plus

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to read and interpret warehouse documentation

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Experience using RF scanners or similar warehouse technology preferred

Physical Requirements

Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to work around moving warehouse equipment

Repetitive use of hands and wrists throughout the shift
