JOB TITLE: Software Engineer [Multiple Positions Available]

LOCATION: 1111 Polaris Parkway, Columbus, OH 43240.

DUTIES: Serve as a team member of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and testing the modules for proper functionality. Write automation test cases for critical user journeys to help with application maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS: 3- or 4-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Application Developer, QA Lead, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Application Developer, QA Lead, or related occupation. This position requires five (5) years of experience in the following: building APIs including RESTful APIs; Web Services; Spring Boot; working with Microservices architecture; coding, designing, and testing in a heterogeneous technology environment; JavaScript including ReactJS; HTML; CSS; recognizing opportunities for process and tool improvements and driving those projects from concept to implementation; using AXIOS or other promise-based HTTP client to fetch data, RESTful, and web services to integrate between Application to Application, GraphQL, Node.js, NPM, Git and Webpack; writing unit tests for complex components using Jest or React Testing Library and Component tests using Cyprus and any other mocking tool such as WireMock or Postman; software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile; financial services industry; automation and continuous delivery methods using Cucumber, Mocha, Chai, and Gherkin. This position requires two (2) years of experience with: working on AWS deployed applications. Full-time.
