Childcare & Development Teacher

IDEA Public Charter School is seeking a passionate and student-centered Childcare & Development Teacher to support students interested in careers related to early childhood education, child development, and education.

The teacher will instruct two sections of Childcare & Development courses and provide students with foundational knowledge related to child growth and development, learning environments, professionalism, and caregiving practices.

The position will also play an important role in preparing students to earn the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and pursue postsecondary opportunities in education and related fields.

The ideal candidate believes in hands-on, career-focused learning and can create engaging classroom experiences that connect theory to real-world application.

The teacher will help students develop both technical knowledge and professional skills while fostering positive relationships and a supportive learning environment.
