The Payroll Systems Analyst serves as the System Administrator, SME and key point of contact for the payroll systems (Kronos and ADP) including day-to-day system maintenance support. This position is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the payroll systems environment, integrations, and business processes. Responsibilities include facilitating the research, development, documentation, and re-engineering of payroll business processes. This position is responsible for Kronos and ADP payroll system configuration, ensuring data integrity through audits and report writing into the timekeeping software. Responsible for weekly production payroll support and triage/mitigate/research any system/integration issues impacting payroll processing. This includes correcting and finding solutions and liaison with internal stakeholders and vendor support if necessary.

Essential Activities

:· Provide payroll system expertise and serve as Kronos and ADP system administrator which consists of planning, business process mapping, requirements gathering, integration, design, configuration, integration, and implementation

.· Create and manage payroll test plans, coordinate, and conduct user acceptance and functional regression testing of new and enhanced Payroll Systems functionality and reporting tools

.· Provide support to business partners in researching and resolving system issues and exception handling. Open and manage service requests and emails with ADP and Kronos as needed

.· Provide reporting support to Payroll team, which includes producing standard payroll reports, creating, and maintaining complex reports, and accurate exception reporting for the payroll team. Runs data bridges as required to update Payroll data

.· Conduct business process re-engineering to identify opportunities for improvement, and making appropriate recommendations; ensuring processes are optimally aligned and that they follow industry standard

s· Create functional/technical specs, business process mapping, SOPs and system admin process documentation to ensure best in class controls for timekeeping and payroll processes

.· Performs daily audit and verification of data received into the Vantage system from the People system to ensure integrity of Payroll associate data needed for Payroll processing. Research discrepancies and correct as needed

.· Performs routine maintenance to system configuration (payroll setup and ADP G/L setup

)· Partner closely with IT to align Payroll Systems configuration with the IT infrastructure, data mapping and integration in accordance with IT change control, information security and compliance standard operating procedure

sExperience and Skills

:· Bachelor's in finance or related fiel

d· 4-6 years of experience working with payroll systems such as Kronos, ADP or Workday with responsibility for setup and maintenanc

e· 4-6 years of functional working experience with Kronos doing configuration and administration

.· 3- 5 years of Multi-State Payroll experienc

e· Proficient in writing Kronos and ADPR report

s· Knowledge of and ability to use MS Office Suite product

s· In depth functional experience with Workday/Kronos preferred, technical experience a plu

s· Excellent customer service skill

s· Excellent written and verbal communicatio

n· Ability to communicate business needs to technical people and to communicate and simplify complex technical information for non-technical user

s· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendation

s· Ability to draft routine correspondence and manage information and data in a confidential and professional manne
