Job Description

Modern Southern Table in Columbus, OH, is looking for one prep cook to join our strong team. We are at our second location in Clintonville. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working.

Morning Shift - 6 am -3 pm or flexible shift

40 hours PTO

Very Competitive Pay and Potential for Performance-Based Bonuses.

Tip Sharing with all Staff: This can lead to an additional $2- $ 3 per shift, paid weekly in cash.

Responsibilities

Follow recipes and prepare simple dishes

Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking

Weigh and measure ingredients

Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, and slice meat and vegetables

Basic cooking functions such as making large quantities of dishes, cleaning, and prepping meats and stews

Label stock and inventory all ingredients

Transferred supplies and equipment between storage and work areas

and much more.

Qualifications

Willing to listen and learn, follow directions, and follow recipes

Ability to communicate and listen to team members

Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal

Experience as a Prep Cook is a plus
