divh2Senior Full Stack Java Engineer/h2pOur client is seeking Senior Full Stack Java Engineer with deep experience in financial services, wealth management, or insurance technology to drive the design and delivery of mission-critical applications.

This individual will combine technical expertise with leadership skills, guiding teams to build secure, scalable, and high-performing systems that support business operations in a regulated environment.

Acting as both a hands-on contributor and a mentor, the Senior Engineer will ensure software solutions align with enterprise objectives and industry best practices./ppKey Responsibilities/pulliLead the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based enterprise applications supporting financial and banking functions./liliServe as a technical lead, setting engineering standards, conducting code reviews, and coaching peers and junior engineers./liliArchitect and deliver API-driven, cloud-native solutions with a focus on resiliency, performance, and scalability./liliApply deep knowledge of financial systems to ensure compliance, data integrity, and security in application delivery./liliDevelop clean, reusable, and testable code using modern practices such as CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, TDD, and secure coding standards./liliTroubleshoot complex technical issues while proactively identifying opportunities to optimize architecture and improve system performance./liliPartner with business and IT stakeholders to translate operational requirements into effective technology solutions./liliStay current with emerging technologies, particularly within the financial services ecosystem, and contribute to internal engineering communities of practice./li/ulpQualifications/pulliBachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)./lili7+ years of software development experience with the Java stack (Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services), including 3+ years in a technical leadership or senior role./liliProven expertise supporting applications within banking, wealth management, or insurance industries./liliStrong understanding of domain-driven design, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns./liliHands-on experience with Azure and Kubernetes (or equivalent cloud and container technologies)./liliIn-depth knowledge of application security and addressing vulnerabilities in financial systems./liliFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps delivery models, including CI/CD, automation, and resiliency practices./liliStrong problem-solving and analytical abilities with excellent communication skills to engage both technical teams and business stakeholders./liliCertifications in Azure DevOps, MuleSoft, or related technologies are a plus./li/ul/div
