Role Description The Operations Manager at Alato World will oversee day-to-day operational activities, ensuring that internal processes, workflows, and logistics run smoothly across teams and client engagements. This contract role will coordinate projects, monitor operational performance, and identify opportunities to streamline systems and improve cross-functional collaboration. The Operations Manager will support resource planning, maintain documentation and standard operating procedures, and help implement operational tools and methodologies. The role will also include communicating with internal stakeholders, tracking key metrics, and supporting change management initiatives to align people, processes, and systems. This is a contract, hybrid role based in New York, NY, with a mix of on-site work and work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

Strong operations management skills, including process design, workflow optimization, and cross-functional coordination.

Experience with project management practices such as planning, prioritization, scheduling, and risk tracking.

Ability to analyze operational data, define KPIs, and translate insights into practical improvements.

Demonstrated skills in stakeholder communication, facilitation, and building alignment across teams.

Comfort working with digital tools and systems (e.g., project management platforms, documentation tools, collaboration software).

Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-changing environment.

Experience in consulting, logistics, or systems-focused roles is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Systems Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
