Apex Systems is currently seeking a Mainframe developer research, design, develop, integrate, enhance and support a service oriented application system.

The project work is in a COBOL/DB2/CICS mainframe based environment and using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). The qualified candidate will develop technical designs based on functional requirements. Analyze, design and develop integration layer of SOA stack to provide technical solutions based upon user specs to support financial service line. Perform unit testing and integration of layers based on WebSphere SOA stack.

We are looking for an experienced mainframe COBOL/DB2 developer with the following skills:

IBM Mainframe COBOL

DB2 V10 and V11

DB2 Native Stored Procedures

CICS

Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

VSAM

Changeman

JCL

QMF, IBM Data Studio

MVS

TSO/ISPF

Required Skills: COBOL, DB2 BM mainframe/cobol DB2 shop VSAM files Online - so CICS and VMS mapping. Old school VMS mapping - changeman would be a big plus but any version control is ok.
