Position : PL/SQL Developer role

Location: Montreal, QC, Canada

Required Skills

• Expertise in DB2 or PL/SQL UDB with writing complex data retrieval queries and stored procedures

• Expertise in Linux/Unix Shell Scripting

• Solid experience with Python / PERL.

• Good knowledge of Autosys or any similar scheduling tool

• Knowledge and good understanding of object-oriented programming

• Detail oriented, ability to turn deliverables around quickly with high degree of accuracy

• Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret business requirements and produce functional and technical design documents

• Good time management skills – ability to prioritize and multi-task, handling multiple efforts at once

• Strong desire to understand and learn domain

Desired Skills

• Experience in Green Plum

• Experience with Informatica

• Experience in a financial services/banking industry

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, equivalent field, or equivalent experience

• 7+ years of experience in developing queries, scripts, and procedures with DB2 or PL/SQL UDB database.

A good PL/SQL developer with good command over Unix would also be okay as long as they are open to working on DB2.
