Fleet Maintenance Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $100,000 to $120,000 per year. Job Responsibilities:

Oversee routine and preventive maintenance for a fleet of car haulers and related equipment.

Ensure all vehicles comply with DOT and FMCSA safety and operational standards.

Coordinate with independent contractors for registration, decals, and fuel permits.

Manage vendor relationships for damage appraisals, repairs, and service quality.

Respond to roadside emergencies and approve repair expenditures promptly. Requirements:

Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet operations.

Maintain accurate service records and track performance metrics consistently.

Collaborate with Operations and HR to support driver schedules and onboarding.

Monitor lodging accounts and ensure cost-effective accommodations for drivers.

Communicate effectively with vendors, contractors, and internal departments. Qualifications:

Bring proven experience in fleet maintenance management or a related field.

Understand DOT/FMCSA regulations and compliance requirements thoroughly.

Exhibit leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Use maintenance tracking systems and reporting tools proficiently.
