We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Electronic Technician to join our Mauritius team.

Purpose

The Electronic Technician provides installation, programming, commissioning services and the review and troubleshooting of various security systems.

Strategic Initiatives

Deliver installation, programming, commissioning, and maintenance of electronic security systems

Uphold Brinks’ values of Safety, Integrity, Customer Focus, and Continuous Improvement

Ensure service quality and product knowledge for electronic clients

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

Work with ISS Monitoring Team, Human Resources, and Electronic Store

Engage directly with clients for system usage support and upgrade advice

Ensure commissioning documentation is completed and signed by customers

Performance Metrics and Accountability

Install and repair electronic security systems according to provided plans

Implement cabling and conduct operational tests after installation/maintenance

Maintain accurate records and ensure timely resolution of technical issues

Responsible for one direct report within a business area of 68 employees

Continuous Improvement and Innovation

Apply IT networking skills (software applications, switches, Cat6 cabling, rack cabinets, patch panels)

Perform CCTV/Alarm installations and repairs with proactive troubleshooting

Contribute to streamlined operations and enhanced client satisfaction through system reviews

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Requirements

Certificate/Diploma in Electronics, IT, Electrical, or related fields

SC/HSC minimum education

Minimum 1 year experience in CCTV/Alarm/Access Control installations and repairs

Valid private car driving license (manual gear)
