Key Qualifications:Valid and current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) for school-based practice.Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued.Strong collaborative abilities for working with teachers, staff, and families.Proficient communication and documentation skills.Creativity and adaptability when developing student-centered treatment plans.Please note: Only fully licensed PTs will be considered; candidates with PTA or COTA certification will not be eligible.
Position Details & Responsibilities:Deliver dedicated physical therapy to a targeted caseload of four elementary school students.Provide services 4 hours each week at scheduled times.Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to help develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).Assess, document, and report progress for each student, focusing on their unique goals.Engage creatively with the school community to foster positive, functional improvements in student mobility and independence.Maintain clear records in compliance with all school and regulatory standards.
This school-based contract position allows you to work closely with a small, focused caseload, ensuring meaningful one-on-one support for each student.
