Role
Lead all technology strategy, architecture, and execution as a founding team member. Report directly to the CEO. Own the AI systems (AIDEN, LENS, fraud models), platform scalability, security, compliance tech, and post-launch roadmap delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and advance core AI/ML systems (AIDEN engine, offer intelligence, fraud detection, LENS analytics)
Drive platform architecture, scalability, security, and blockchain audit integration
Manage XDK/API development and technical integrations for lender partners
Execute technical roadmap: autonomous underwriting agent, document intelligence, adaptive pricing
Ensure explainable AI, data privacy (GLBA/CCPA), and regulatory compliance in all tech decisions
Build and mentor future engineering team once funded; hands-on coding and architecture in early stage
Requirements
8+ years building and scaling AI-native or fintech platforms (production ML systems, multi-agent architectures preferred)
Strong experience with real-time systems, event-driven architecture, LLMs/RAG, and blockchain
Proven ability to ship compliant, auditable AI products in regulated industries
Startup experience: comfortable leading from pre-launch through growth in resource-constrained environment
Compensation & Equity
No current cash salary (pre-revenue, raising seed). As a founding CTO you receive generous equity: 4–6% of company stock with 5-year vesting — significant ownership in a high-upside AI fintech disrupting a $3T market. Equity discussions prioritized for exceptional candidates. Remote work supported until U.S. development center is established.
