Job Description
The Warehouse Associate safely operates industrial trucks, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts and reach trucks, to load, unload, transport, and stack goods in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate inventory, supporting order fulfillment, and ensuring all materials move efficiently and safely through the facility.
Responsibilities
Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts and reach trucks to safely load, unload, transport, and stack goods throughout the warehouse.
Perform material handling tasks, including moving pallets, staging products, and organizing inventory in designated storage locations.
Support order picking activities by locating, selecting, and preparing products according to order requirements.
Conduct pre-operation and post-operation safety checks on forklifts and other industrial trucks to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines to maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free work area.
Assist with general labor tasks within the warehouse, including cleaning, organizing, and supporting other team members as needed.
Help manage inventory by accurately moving, scanning, and recording goods to support inventory control processes.
Prepare orders for shipping by staging, palletizing, and ensuring products are ready for outbound transport.
Participate in a forklift skills test during the first days on site to demonstrate safe and effective equipment operation.
Essential Skills
Proven ability to safely operate industrial trucks, including sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and reach trucks.
Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or 3PL environment.
Strong material handling skills, including loading, unloading, transporting, and stacking goods.
Order picking experience with attention to accuracy and productivity.
Ability to perform general labor tasks in a warehouse setting.
Basic inventory handling experience, including organizing and moving stock.
Commitment to following safety procedures and conducting equipment safety checks.
Ability to pass a forklift test within the first 1–2 days of employment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in a 3PL warehouse environment supporting large-scale data center operations.
Familiarity with working in a high-volume, fast-paced distribution facility.
Comfort working across different shifts, including weekdays and weekends, as business needs require.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet operational goals.

Work Environment
This position is based in a busy warehouse and distribution facility that supports large-scale operations. The work involves frequent use of sit-down and stand-up forklifts and reach trucks, as well as regular material handling, order picking, and general labor tasks. Multiple shift options are available, including first shift Monday through Friday from early morning to mid-afternoon, second shift Monday through Friday from afternoon to evening, third shift Monday through Friday overnight, and dedicated weekend day and night shifts from Friday through Sunday. The environment is fast-paced and safety-focused, with structured procedures for equipment use and inventory movement.Job Type & Location

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.75/hr.
