Job Title

The role involves serving as the primary regulatory compliance manager, Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) authority, and enterprise training lead for all Temporary Duty (TDY) travel.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing, reviewing, and revising comprehensive travel policies and procedures to ensure alignment with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and Department of Defense (DoD) Financial Management Regulation (FMR).

Executing the enterprise Post-Payment Review (PPR) program to independently audit vouchers and ensure fiscal integrity.

Utilizing the DTMO Compliance Tool and other data analysis software to identify high-risk transactions, anomalies, and potential indicators of fraud, waste, or abuse.

Designing, updating, and delivering recurring training for travelers and Approving Officials on JTR compliance, ethical conduct, and proper voucher submission.

Calculating the precise amount of indebtedness resulting from PPR audit findings, duplicate payments, or other identified travel overpayments and issuing official debt notification letters.
