Delivery Driver Customer Service

HireLevel is looking for a Delivery Driver (Class E) in St. Charles, Mo.

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Location: St. Charles

Pay: $21-22/hour—based on experience

Responsibilities of the Delivery Driver:

Delivery & Customer Service

Deliver products to customers within designated delivery windows while ensuring accuracy and professionalism.

Provide excellent customer service during each delivery interaction.

Ensure proper handling of goods to maintain product quality and safety.

Safety & Compliance

Operate delivery vehicles in compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

Follow company standards related to food safety, sanitation, allergen control, and food defense protocols.

Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures at all times.

Vehicle & Equipment Management

Conduct routine inspections to ensure vehicles are in safe working conditions.

Maintain cleanliness of delivery trucks and equipment.

Return all pallets, milk crates, and equipment after deliveries.

Reporting & Accountability

Promptly report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues to management.

Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.

Support operational efficiency by following assigned routes and schedules.

Requirements of the Delivery Driver:

Licensing & Certifications

Valid Class E/Chauffeur’s License (Required)

Air Brakes endorsement (Required)

Experience & Skills

Previous delivery or driving experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and route navigation.

Ability to meet delivery timelines and mange workload independently.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, load and unload product as needed.

Capable or working in a physically active role that involves regular driving, loading and unloading.
