Materials & Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities: Including but not limited to the following:

- Analyze materials requirements, operational procedures, and supply chain activities to improve SAP/ERP-based materials management and procurement processes.

- Monitor and maintain SAP/ERP records related to inventory transactions, purchase orders, supplier deliveries, and material requirements.

- Develop and coordinate procurement plans for automotive parts and materials to support manufacturing and production operations.

- Coordinate with suppliers regarding material availability, delivery schedules, shipment requirements, and engineering changes.

- Review and negotiate delivery terms, logistics arrangements, and transportation schedules with suppliers and service providers.

- Monitor inventory levels and material flow to ensure timely availability of materials and uninterrupted production operations.

- Prepare and analyze reports related to inventory, supplier performance, incoming shipments, and procurement activities.

- Monitor customer production schedules and forecast changes through SAP/ERP systems and adjust material planning activities accordingly.

- Review incoming materials and purchased components to ensure compliance with material specifications, supplier requirements, and production needs.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.

- At least four years of progressive experience in materials planning, procurement, inventory control, and supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment, including experience utilizing SAP and ERP systems.
