The position is permanent and open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents.

Wage: $17.50–$19.00 per hour

Hours of Work: 30–40 hours per week

Job Summary:

Domrick Store & Bakeshop is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare and cook a variety of food and baked items. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining food quality and supporting daily kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook complete meals and baked goods

Ensure consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation

Assist with food preparation schedules

Maintain inventory and records of food and kitchen supplies

Ensure cleanliness and organization of kitchen and work areas

Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations

Supervise and assist kitchen helpers as needed

Receive and properly store food supplies

Employment Requirements:

Completion of secondary school

Experience in food preparation or cooking is an asset but not required (experience as a kitchen helper may be considered)

Knowledge of basic cooking and baking techniques

Food Safety Certificate required or willingness to obtain upon hiring

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
