Host/Hostess

Established in 1996, Sakagura is a well-loved Japanese izakaya located in Midtown Manhattan, just steps from Grand Central Station. We are currently seeking a professional and welcoming Front Desk Host/Hostess to join our team.

Compensation:

*$18–$22 per hour

*$17 per hour during training period

Responsibilities:

*Coordinate guest seating and manage floor plans using Resy

*Handle reservations and guest inquiries via phone

*Process payments using Square POS

*Perform opening and closing procedures

Qualifications:

*Business-level spoken English

*Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (SSN, valid work visa, etc.)

*Prior hospitality experience is preferred but not required
