• Scheduling Software: Mastery of Primavera P6 is essential
• Critical Path Method (CPM)Analysis: Deep understanding of network diagrams, leads, lags, and identifying the exact sequence of activities that drive the project end date
• Earned Value Management (EVM): The ability to link schedule progress with cost data to measure the actual performance of the project against its baseline
• Work Breakdown Structure (WBS): Skill in breaking large, complex projects down into smaller, manageable, and trackable components
• Risk Analysis & Forecasting: Identifying potential schedule delays and evaluating both threats and opportunities to project
• Change Management: The ability to trace, document, and quantify the impact of changes in project scope on the overall timeline.
• Resource Allocation: Strategically assigning labor, equipment, and materials to ensure maximum efficiency without causing bottlenecks
Education:
• Four-year Bachelor's degree with three or more years of relevant Cost Control of Planning & Scheduling experience OR no four-year Bachelor's degree required with six years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office.
• Prefer four-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
