Software Engineer — Entry Level

Role Description

Full-time remote/hybrid role based in Greater Houston. The Entry-Level Software Engineer will work across the VowchedMe stack — building features, fixing bugs, and shipping product alongside the founder and design. Strong mentorship environment for someone early in their career with real product instincts.

Compensation

$90,000–$115,000 USD base, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Build and ship features across the VowchedMe web app

Work full-stack across React frontend and Supabase backend

Integrate third-party services (Stripe, Resend, video infrastructure)

Write clean, tested, maintainable code

Participate in product discussions and contribute to technical decisions

Qualifications

0–2 years of professional software engineering experience

Strong fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and SQL

Familiarity with modern web tooling and frameworks (Next.js, Tailwind, etc.)

Bonus: experience with Supabase, Lovable, Stripe, or video infrastructure

CS degree, bootcamp graduate, or strong self-taught portfolio

Genuinely curious, ships work, asks good questions
