Work Experience:

8+ years professional experience in full stack Java development at a senior developer level.

Proficiency in writing complex SQL and PL/SQL in Oracle.

DevOps (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Docker / Kubernetes).

Exposure to MDM and ETL concepts.

Linux and shell scripting.

Middleware – WebLogic, JBoss EAP (or equivalent).

Message Queues (IBM MQ / ActiveMQ), Web Services (SOAP, REST), and Microservices.

Web UI frameworks and technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Node.js, Python, HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, AngularJS, Bootstrap.

Proficiency with distributed version control system such as Git.

Other Qualifications:

Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented (OO) design patterns, distributed databases, and data modeling techniques.

Experience in development of distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications.

Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work in a matrix environment – collaborating across different IT functions.

Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles.

Adaptable with the ability to foresee and proactively adjust to leading-edge technical trends.

Physical and Mental:

Ability to multi-task, analytical skills, ability to follow verbal or written instructions, thinking analytically, using effective verbal and written communication, handling stress & emotions, concentrating on tasks, making decisions, adjusting to change, examining/observing details, sitting for long periods at a time.

Desirable:

Master Data Management products (Informatica MDM / IBM).

ETL (Informatica Data Quality / PowerCenter / IBM DataStage).

Job Orchestration using BMC Control-M (or equivalent).

Cloud Infrastructure (Azure / AWS).

Knowledge of healthcare messaging standards such as HL7, FHIR.
